    Fleur is like you said 1/4 Veela, but 3/4 human. So the human part of her overtakes the Veela and she could take it.

    The one inconsistency I’ve found with the Harry Potter books is the Polyjuice Potion. It’s not suppose to work on non-humans or partially non-humans (aka “half breeds”), yet Fleur takes the Polyjuice Potion (and she’s 1/4 Veela) and Remus in this book, I think, declares himself, and Harry asks him these questions to prove its really Remus, when a Death Eater couldn’t impersonate him when he’s a WEREWOLF.
