Downloading audio books then to mp3?

i’m trying to put some audio books i have onto my computer so I can put them on my mp3 whenver i want. i tried importing them through the rhapsody program at the smallest quality, and just three discs took up 25 mb…is that normal? how can I do this without taking up huge amounts of space. Just for the record i’m trying to put all 7 of the HP books on my computer. so thats a lot of books and as far as i can tell a lot of space…thanks

That’s fairly normal, audio books can be big, some more than others depends literally on size and also with a quality factor as some places you get them from provide different quality options to suit slower download or smaller storage situations.

With that said 25mb for 3, that’s not that large these days especially when the average mp3 player has maybe 500mb + of space and computers have 100+gb space, only a real problem if the mp3 or computer is old or net connection is a dial up.
