How much memory do audio books tend to take up?

How much memory space in mb/gb say on an iPod do audio books take up? Is it a lot, so you can maybe only have one on at a time, or not much so you can have loads and just listen to them whenever?

it depends on the book about 700 800mbs per cd. you can change the quality down and get more though. when you change over you get alot more on mp3 like 700 to 800mb a whole audio book for a novel i have a 16gb and can hold tons of books but i usually have 5 on there for work. with plenty of space enough for a couple of weeks in case i forget to take it home on weekends
